Love Letter to the World- Penned with Blood

Image
Today, I deliver an important letter to you, written in red, with the perpetual, precious blood of a spotless lamb that cannot be erased. With sincere love and care I share these words from One who desires you more than anyone ever will, not just for this lifetime but for eternity. It would be remiss of me if I did not share this letter of truth which has the power to transform your life forever.   To My Beloved Creation: Every nation, every tribe, every language, every heart and every story I have known before time began,   I came from heaven, not to do My own will,  but the will of Him who sent Me.  I was sent by the Father for you ; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish,  but have everlasting life (John 3:16). He sent Me to heal the broken hearted , to proclaim liberty to the captives and, t o set at liberty those who are oppressed (Isaiah 61:1).  I was there with the Fat...

The Last Miracle Before the Cross

Image
Do you know or remember the very last miracle Jesus did before His crucifixion? It was not loud and it certainly was not celebrated. It was done in the quiet and stillness of the late night/midnight. This miracle often slips by unnoticed, perhaps because of its simplicity or because, our focus is often drawn to the events before and after in Gethsemane. But this happened in the middle of it all, in the quiet in-between moments of chaos. And yet, in its silence, it spoke volumes carrying a depth of meaning that rivals even grander miracles of Jesus. Though the Gospels record it briefly, it carries profound insight into the heart, the character, and the nature of Jesus; a quiet, radical display of grace at the very moment He faced betrayal and imminent suffering. The Gospels: Mathew, Mark, Luke and John describe a coherent picture of what happened in Gethsemane and the details which led to this miracle. Jesus was in the garden of Gethsemane, praying, under severe agony, feeling the...

Determined to Meet Jesus! - When Desperation Awakens Faith

Image
We all know the saying, ‘Desperate times call for desperate measures’ but there are some men and women in the gospels who taught us, ‘Desperate times call for faith in action’. The thing about desperate measures in desperate times is that it comes with unknown or unforeseen risks, settling for less than what God intended and being emotionally driven leading to impulsive decision making. Most of us can relate to this in some way and can identify a time we may have been in this position. Perhaps in the past those measures may have worked out for the best but, how do we really know that was God’s best? I am not dismissing the need for desperate measures in desperate times (context is critical), but I am highlighting its limitations and redirecting us to a biblical principle that guides us to God’s will and plan and positions us to receive our blessing/miracle. So how about we put our faith into action rather than resort to desperate measures in times of desperation? Desperation...

No Casual Visitation

Image
It is no mystery that social interaction is not what it used to be. The truth is, many of us are caught up in the busyness of life and, whether we realize it or not, have become socially displaced. We live in the digital era where we rather FaceTime than knock on a door, text instead of having face to face conversations, and post online rather than engage in person. Much of our interaction has shifted from physical spaces to digital ones, and even the rare in-person visits often feel brief and casual, nothing like the meaningful time shared “back in the day.” The good news is, though world systems, society and people change, the GOD of the Bible remains the SAME. Hebrews 13:8 declares, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." When we consider how casual many of our human interactions have become, it makes one truth even more profound: God’s interaction with humanity is anything but casual. The Psalmist David knew this and testified of it in Psalm 8, one ...

Jacob’s Divine Encounters with GOD

Image
The Bible is filled with extraordinary stories of men and women who encountered the Living God, moments that changed the course of their lives forever. Jacob, grandson of the covenant patriarch, Abraham and heir to the covenant promises stands out for the intensity and depth of his divine encounters. From the dream at Bethel , to the angelic visit at Mahanaim , and the life-altering wrestling match at Peniel , Jacob’s journey reveals how God meets us at our crossroads , protects us in our struggles , and transforms us through His presence . In today’s blog, we’ll briefly explore these powerful encounters and uncover the spiritually valuable lessons it holds for us. Before moving on, let’s revisit who was Jacob. Of course, we know him as Abraham’s grandson. He was the younger twin of Esau and his name, ‘Jacob’ means ‘supplanter’ or ‘holder of the heel’ because he was born holding Esau’s heel (Genesis 25:26). Jacob obtained the birthright by persuading Esau to trade it for food (...
